REALLY, REALLY GOOD Restaurants and stores to get high quality stuff:
Dining Out Philadelphia Magazine  (great resource for finding different restaurants throughout the philly area)

Derek's  (main street, manayunk)

Bella Trattoria (main street, manayunk)

Zesty's  (main street, manayunk)

XIX  (center city)

Panorama  (old city)

Bertolini's  (king of prussia mall)

Morton's Steak House  (king of prussia mall)

Domaine Hudson Wine Bar  (wilmington)

Barclay Prime Steak House (center city)

El Vez  (center city)

Pepperoncini's (conshohocken)  as far as I can tell, they don't have a website.  Great Italian Food.  Nice atmosphere.  Completely not what you would expect based on seeing it from the street.

Fiorello's  (west chester) - Consistently the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to.  no website.

Main Line Prime   (a super high end butcher in Ardmore.  Owned by Derek, of Derek's in Manayunk.  You will not find better meat anywhere!  Dry Aged, Prime, Hand Cut, even true Japanese Kobe Beef!)

Chestnue Hill Cheese Shop  A 3 minute drive from Summit Park.  2 blocks down from the Borders on Germantown Ave.  If you want some fantastic cheese, this is the place to go.

Philadelphia Lobster and Fish    If you are ever in the MainLine area, this is the place to go for the freshest seafood and produce you can find.  In the Wynnewood Shopping Center, across the parking lot from Whole Foods.

Reading Terminal Market   If you haven't been here yet.  Just go.  It is worth it.  Words can't really do it it justice.

San Nicola  (Paoli and Berwyn)  Great Italian food - very reasonable prices.

Conshohocken Bakery  (conshohocken)  Amoroso and Conshy Bakery are the best rolls available anywhere in the world!  And Conshy Bakery is a 5 minute drive from Summit, and is open to the public!

Coyle's Cafe  (roxoboro, near ridge and green lane) - no website, but a great LOCAL place.  Very casual neighborhood bar/restaurant kind of feel.  The food is dirt cheap, and it's good!  Based on my experience there, I would never hesitate to go there to eat.

From the Boot  (Lafayett Hill - just off Germantown Ave and Church Road) -  local BYOB.  Great atmosphere.  Great Service.  Good Food, and cheap.  Well worth it!

Triumph Brewery - (Old City) - Summit Park's former Chef Molly is now the Chef at Triumph Old City.  I've been there and have had the food.  I'm not just being nice because I'm friends with Molly.  The food was absolutely outstanding.  Well worth the trip.  And if your into beer, then all the better.
